Privacy policy
This policy explains how personal data is handled on SkeinMath under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). It applies to every visitor, wherever you live.
Who is responsible
- Data controller: Luis Alberto Najar Isidro (Instanajar)
- Tax ID (NIF): 53004716C
- Address: Navas de Tolosa, 2, 28701 San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain
- Email: [email protected]
What data we use and why
1. Delivering and protecting the website
When you open a page, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser details and the address of the page requested so it can deliver the page and block attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR art. 6.1.f). Cloudflare acts as our processor.
2. Visit statistics, only if you accept analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records the page visited, the referring page, browser type, country and page load times. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time. Cloudflare acts as our processor.
3. Advertising, only if you accept advertising
Ads are served by Monetag, a brand of the Propeller Ads group (Propeller Ads Ltd, Cyprus, and its group companies). If you accept, Monetag and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies and collect data such as your IP address, country, browser, operating system and the pages where ads appear, in order to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them, personalize them and detect fraud. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a). Monetag acts as an independent data controller and explains its processing in its privacy policy. You can also use its opt-out page and contact its data protection officer at [email protected].
To limit pop-under ads, our own script counts, for this browser tab session only, how many pages you have viewed and how many pop-unders have opened. It does this only after you accept advertising.
4. Emails you send us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your message (GDPR art. 6.1.f). Emails to our address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox hosted by Google (Google Workspace).
5. Your cookie choice
We store your consent choice in your own browser so we do not ask again on every page. See thecookie policy.
How long we keep data
- Emails: until your question is answered, then up to 12 months in case you follow up, unless the law requires longer.
- Your consent choice: 12 months in your browser, then we ask again.
- Hosting, analytics and advertising data: for the periods set by Cloudflare and Monetag in their own policies.
Who receives data
- Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security, analytics and email forwarding), as processor.
- Google (email mailbox, Google Workspace), as processor.
- Monetag / Propeller Ads group and its advertising partners, as independent controllers, only if you accept advertising.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with public authorities only when the law requires it.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. Cloudflare states that it relies on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Google applies the safeguards set out in its data processing terms for Google Workspace. Monetag states in its privacy policy that data may be transferred to the Isle of Man, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates and the United States, relying on adequacy decisions and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing. Write to [email protected]. You can withdraw consent for analytics or advertising at any time with the "Cookie settings" button in the footer; this does not affect processing done before.
If you think we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es) or to the authority of the EU country where you live.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly process data of children under 14, the age of digital consent in Spain.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
